Why would Christianity and the Bible need apologetics?

Well, for those who want to understand the Word, God will give them understanding. It says that in the Bible. And God won't punish you if you do not know everything. As long as you take the first step which is to believe in Jesus and that He died for us, God will take care of the rest and lead you along the way.
