Does RAID kill bedbugs?

Does the RAID spray kill bedbugs? I know I have to wash stuff in hot water and get the place exterminated and all of that is in process. However in the mean time will raid work if I spray them? I don't have a bed, I assume they are coming from next door. Without owning a bed, where are they likely to be hiding?
