Barcelona youth academy overrated?

Barca's academy is overrated. They don't actually develop their players as much as other teams (I'm going to say Real Madrid in this one because Madrid's academy players are actually pretty good, but are shipped out to make a profit). For example, Madrid, Manchester United, Liverpool, Ajax, Feyenoord, Santos, Sao Paulo, River Plate and Boca Juniors are just a few other academies that are actually much better than Barca's fabled "La Masia", and have been consistently producing players for their clubs over a period of over a decade (Barca's academy started to develop after 5 years and everyone has their dick stuck in their pants).
