Would you consider this a cliche book?

Ok so my books called seventh sanctum ( probably not permanent) well anyways im 14 so dont go to hard on me ok well heres what its about in the prouloge krel the main character is 13 and its his birthday and his parents get murdered and he gets put into labour at this farm as a farm hand the farm and the town its in gets raided by bandidts he's the only surviour by now he is 17 and he gets picked up by a military recruitar for the imperial army he gets put in the ranks and gets assigned to be a beast hunter he trains and does simple hunting runs then he gets his first real task its a dragon atacking a small village he gets sent to exterminate it the dragon knocks him out and in his dream a seer wearing all white robes gives him a feather as a gift he then awakes in the village as its burning he gets out barley alive his chain mail torn his swords sheath burned he's coffing up smoke and ash: so did it sound like a cliche and also can you tell me if it has potential and if you liked it i didnt put the spelling or grammar that good because im in a hurry
