Would you change plans if you were planning to go to Athens in 2 weeks?

I have been to Athens and other parts of Greece many times in the past 30 years. Through the ups and downs of the economy and social issues. I have never felt any hesitation in going because Greece is a peaceful place. They always make an effort to keep safety first with tourist and make them feel very welcome. During the Macedonia /Greek thing when Turkey(formerly Turkey) tried to claim The upper part of Greece as their own land, we got off the airplane and traditionally dressed men & women were there handing out flowers and ouzo to all of the new arriving passengers on the plane from US & Germany, where I flew in from, and most likely all other all other countires as well. Greece likes to keep the peace. It is amazing experience, to go there. Breathtaking. Hope that helps. :)
